Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our small team for a 6-month, full time contract role. Full time at Flourish is roughly a 4-day work week. There will be an option to extend based on performance and available funding. Compensation is $60 - $75 per hour based on experience and skillset.
As a Salesforce Developer and part of the dev team at Flourish, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. Our clients are non-profits and public health-related orgs, so your work will directly contribute to improving the well-being of individuals and communities around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project leads to translate user requirements into scalable, robust Salesforce solutions
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce data models, components, and applications
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems
- Interface with end users to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce
- Create and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, design, and development
- Proficiency in declarative and programmatic Salesforce features, particularly Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC's), and Flows; note: we do not use Aura or Visualforce, so no experience needed for those frameworks
- Experience leveraging best practices, internal conventions, and cutting edge features (up to Summer '24 release) in Salesforce development
- Experience building LWC's and applications with user-friendly and visually appealing UI/UX
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, web services, and third-party tools
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, and data management best practices
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Proactive and independently able to fill and communicate gaps you see in the requirements based on the overarching goal of the application/component
Bonus Points:
- Salesforce Developer, Application Architect, or similar certification(s)
- Proficiency in NodeJS or Python for ad hoc scripting tasks (ex. for programmatically cleaning a dataset)
- Experience working with initiatives or organizations that serve the public good
