JOB LOCATION: Admiralty Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
JOB DUTIES/DESCRIPTION
Performs a wide variety of installation, configuration, and upgrading software
Supporting software (monitoring solution, backup & recovery solutions), servers, and storage in various environments.
Provide investigation, diagnostic testing and repair/software and other related infrastructure.
Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of a B.Eng / B.Tech. in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any related field.
A Master’s Degree will be added advantage.
Possession of ITIL certification.
CISSP/ CISM, CompTIA Security, CEH, CCSA, CCSE or other equivalent certifications.
A minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in infrastructure and cloud with record of accomplishment in this role.
A minimum of 2-3 years of presales, implementation and post-sales experience
Experience working in mixed Windows/Linux, database and virtualized/physical server environments.
Project Management certification is a big plus
Good understanding of System/Servers Administration, IT Service Delivery, Networking, IT Infrastructure.
