Senior Investment Associate

                                   
As a Senior Financial Associate, you will lead project teams to provide accurate, data-driven information on companies’ profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. You will lead the research and analysis of financial information to help companies make well-informed decisions, write reports, and monitor financial activities. Additionally, you will help in defining the fundamentals of strategic and investment decisions based on analyzed data.

Non-negotiable requirement for the role


4 - 7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, financial and management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or in-house M&A activities.

Big Four accounting firms or top start-ups experience in risk advisory, transaction advisory or strategy capacities is necessary.

Candidate should hold a title such as senior finance associate or equivalent with experience mentoring and coaching teammates

A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics/Accounting/Business/Finance.

Job Duties:

Business Writing - Preparing reports, information memoranda, summaries, and presentations as required by the nature of the assignment.

Business Valuations and Investment Analysis - Evaluating businesses to analyze investment opportunities, conduct commercial due diligence for startups or on behalf of other investors, support in the legal due diligence preparation and valuations exercise

Conduct current state research for clients’ sectors across emerging and developed markets including business valuations, industry drivers, challenges, and opportunities so clients understand how they fit relative to the market.

Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Design companies’ future state by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts, explaining processes and techniques, and recommending actions. Contract Analysis

Reviewing project documents to assess the commercial and contractual implications, under various contracts, specifically for Project Financing structures.

Build various types of financial models (i.e., company valuations, profitability, pricing, etc.)

Developing and auditing high-end, complex financial models of international standard, ensuring compliance with project documents and applicable accounting & taxation practices, analyzing key business drivers and advising clients on risk/return analysis.

Participating in negotiations with Project Stakeholders

Participating to negotiate commercial and contractual aspects of the projects with banks/financial institutions, contractors, and other third parties.

Build reporting dashboards for a variety of stakeholders across tools like Google Data Studio, Excel, and Power BI.

Prepare business cases for data driven decision making and see decisions through till implementation.

Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications and driving personal development.

Business Development – Have good relationship within the tech ecosystem to carry out business development for companies that need advisory.


Exhibits exceptional client management skills; goes beyond assignment work to produce ideas and actions that can improve quality and contribute to engagement.
