We seek an accountant/administrator to maintain our financial integrity, ensuring compliance and providing critical insights to support our informed business decisions and drive organizational growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial management
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
BUDGETING AND FORECASTING
Support the development of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with management.
Monitor budget performance and analyze variances to identify areas for improvement.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations.
Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT and corporate tax fillings.
Facilitate external audits by providing accurate documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships to ensure efficient operations.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.
Assist in Human resources tasks, such as payroll processing, benefits administration and employee onboarding
Experience
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience In Accounting
• Must be an ICAN holder.
